The brackets slide and lock in place smoothly and firmly, they are such a nice fit that you would not think they are not part of the fan mold. the fan and the mounts are in a separate boxes within the main box (boxception) and you get 2 mounting bracket options. Just holding the box they are packaged in you know you are about to open a premium product. Pros: Like the title says quality and performance, these fans exude just that. No fan is perfect but the overwhelming PROS of this certainly make this a 5 star fan. For the price and the accessories or options it gives you, this is MY top choice for performance/noise/price combo. But if you are shopping around for fans, the High Speed version should be on your short list. If you already have gt2150, vardar 120er, or ML120, then no need to get this unless they broke. I initially had 2 of each fans mentioned but I was optimizing my fan placements on my SFF case.

I have the gt2150, Vardar 120er, and HAD the ml120 pro which I returned to get 2 more of this. I am happy with my purchase and this is recommended as CPU air cooler or case fan. Even with all 4 running on those RPM, they are still acceptable and quiet enough even at night.

The 4 SW3 HS are set up at 500rpm (20%) 25 degrees then straight line to 2100-2200rpm (100%) 62 degrees.Ģ of the front fans end up running at full speed while gaming and the other 2 are in between 1200-1800rpm depending on CPU temps. Load is 72 for top card, 64 for bottom while playing modded witcher 3 and GTA V redux. Idles at 37-39 for top, 35-37 for bottom card. Did a curve OC and have them running at 1.000v 1974mhz core 5557mhz memory. SLI temps with my MSI 1080 gaming(not X or Z) are under control.

The other 2 are pushing down on my CPU cooler(NH-C14s) and keep my 4790k 4.8ghz 1.282v under 60 deg while gaming. The 2 as intake are right next to the GPU and RAM, I have a caselabs BH7 SFF ATX case and this just busts through the GPU and I can feel the air at the back side of the case. The cons I have are more of me nitpicking. 3x are plugged in the corsair commander mini PWM and 1 is plugged in the CPU mobo PWM header (Asus z87 Maximus VI Formula). I used mine as 2x intake & 2x CPU cooler, total of 4 purchased. Overall Review: Thermalbench dot com has a more in depth info/review on this with both the PWM and DC version used on a rad. Screw mounting is just straight shot, no open side, meaning the CPU mounting might be limited for some CPU cooler fan clips. The mounting corners require you to have like a bobby pin or precision eyeglass screwdriver to remove, tabs lock it in place. ğrame is a little “soft” compared to SW2 but then again no one really twists their fans. push pin option comes with a "gasket" which makes it more quiet, can be used with screws. Long braided cables giving you options for places to mount. ğocused airflow, doesn’t really “spread” the air, a little bit but no dead spot. Still great airflow (static pressure) even with a filter. ę00rpm-1500rpm is the performance-noise sweet spot. ğrame has rubber dampeners to avoid vibration noise. The screw option even has dampeners on the mount. Ĝan use screws (for rad) or push pins (for case). Very quiet at sub 1700 RPM while pushing great amount of air. Pros: -ğor $20, the build quality and mounting options are great. They are your best choice for any application that requires the ultimate in quiet operation and uncompromised Product conception, design and quality control in Germany.PWM controlled fan speed by the motherboard.High-speed models are especially recommended for use in powerful water cooling and air cooling set ups.Advanced high quality IC motor controller reduces electrical noise.
